Air Max builds upon its nearly 30-year legacy with a leap: the Nike Air VaporMax, which pays off the full promise of Air — to provide lightweight, consistent cushioning that lasts.
We recently had the honor to work with one of our favorite brands yet again, Nike. This time we collaborated on their vision to create an extraordinary display their SoHo Location to reveal a new shoe: Nike Air VaporMax ™.
The whole HGI team was thrilled to work on this exciting product launch with Nike. To amplify the wow factor we used our very own HydroChrome Process® to create a vivid chrome finish on the mannequins, basketballs, hoops and more for their in-store displays.
Our HydroChrome® process is something that we developed in order to provide a mirror like finish on almost any surface! This finish made a huge splash in football with the 2012 Oregon Rose Bowl. It was also utilized during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Our HydroChrome® process can be done in any color you can imagine. We have used this fun finish on almost anything you can think of including: helmets, mannequins, signs, wood, shoes, basketballs, footballs, golf clubs and more.
We had to keep our work on this project top secret until its February launch day. As the vision came to life it was hard to hold our excitement in, we really wanted to share our this fun project with our fans! We love working with great brands like Nike who get creative with our water transfer printing skills. We look forward to more fun projects like this in the future!
